The scenery at Haleys Dam in the neighborhood of Haleys Lagoon is pretty, and Camp Colman is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Joemma Beach is a beach near Haleys Lagoon that you can explore, and why not stop at Dutcher Cove also since you're here. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Haleys Lagoon, too nice to be true.       If you get bored of Haleys Lagoon, you could also check out nearby Herron Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Olympia here. Haleys Lagoon is a reasonably wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. Jackson Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and La Quinta Inn Olympia Lacey is a nice place to get some rest. For the                  period of the warmest time of the year at Haleys Lagoon temperatures are usually in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
