Really nice skiing awaits you at Alpental, and Airplane Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Haleyon Lake is a relatively wet place usually with much rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Just can't get enough of Haleyon Lake. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skykomish River,       and after a long day outdoors Summit Lodge at Snoqualmie Pass is a great site to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Haleyon Lake through the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Haleyon Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Haleyon                  Lake is tremendous fun, Gold Bar Nature Trails Sls Ofc is a tremendous local campground, and a fine close by hotel is Salish Lodge And Spa. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park is a great campground here, and Wallace River is a good whitewater spot close by.
