Looking for something close to Hagen Lake? Scout Lake is in the neighborhood. Going for a hike along the Royal Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Hagen Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake of the Angels is a nearby lake. Hagen Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. At Hagen Lake during the summer       months highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hagen Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. Hagen Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Hamma Hamma River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by, and Alderbrook Resort and Spa is a nice location to get some rest. So much fun stuff                  to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. People from Shelton love to come to Hagen Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Baldy Trail. This location, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Shelton is a glorious place to spend a night or two; on a great day you can take a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Skokomish River - North Fork, and camping is available at Staircase Campground.
