Gypsy Lakes is a location that is pretty arid generally; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while September is frequently the driest month. Why not camp at Sullivan Lake Campground since you're here at Gypsy Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Stagger Inn Campground, and the vista of beautiful Gypsy Peak is fine. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a perfect location to get       some rest; get covered with water paddling on Sullivan River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Gypsy Lakes, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Gypsy Lakes dip into the 10's.
