It's always fun to stop by Greenwood Lake. Greenwood Lake gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. You truly must love the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Greenwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mounthaven Resort is a good site for that, and a stunning lake like Granite Lake is a fine spot to stop by. | | highs here at Greenwood Lake get into the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Greenwood Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Cora Lake is a glorious lake next to Greenwood Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to discover | |

 | July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving.... |
