Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Green Mountain Lake, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Green Mountain Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Whitewater paddling is fine on Cispus River, and the snow is delightful at White Pass. Green Mountain Lake usually gets       a great deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's more to do close to Green Mountain Lake. A scenic lake like Horseshoe Lake in the neighborhood of Green Mountain Lake is a glorious place to pop by, and Chain of Lakes Campground is a nice local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Whohoo, so many amusing                  things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent! Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a great spot, and Green Mountain Lake is right by the Divide Camp Trail. Do take a look at Council Lake near Green Mountain Lake, it's a charming lake, and the top of Green Mountain is easily made out from Green Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Green Mountain Lake, you could take a look at East Fork Adams Creek, and why not camp at Spring Creek Campground since you're here at Green Mountain Lake.
