    In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Green Lake is one of them. The high level of rainfall makes Green Lake a relatively wet spot; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Glide down the rapids of South Praire Creek in a kayak; don't leave Green Lake without first going for a hike along the Ipsut Creek Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t  
   like to have fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Ipsut Creek Campground is always a good experience, and dry warm beds await you at Kings Valu Inn. At Green Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Green Lake sink into the 30's. Life's too short to
 
               enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. There's perfect hiking along the Paul Peak Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Clearwater River - White River Tributary.
All year is a glorious time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. Mount Rainier National Park is one of the destinations next to Green Lake that are brilliant to go to, and if you wish for a little side trip, try Ipsut Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Summit Lake Trail, needless to say you could also take a look at East Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Why not have a look at close by Cayada Creek since you're here at Green Lake, and Chenuis Falls is always fun to check out.
Camping is available at Cougar Rock Campground; perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Coplay Lake is just a very short distance away. Green Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Green Lake has it all. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Buckley is a magnificent choice, and the peak of Arthur Peak can be seen from Green Lake.
