This lake is so wonderful. The Lake Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Grand Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Deer Park Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby. If time allows, Olympic National Park is a national park worth a visit, and Grand Lake is right by the Baldy Trail. Through the days of summer highs here at Grand Lake get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter

| | comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Grand Lake are in the 30's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elwha River; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Moose Lake is just a very short distance away. right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Grand Lake has it all. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grand Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heart of the Hills Campground; if you come at the right time of year,
Gray Wolf River offers some glorious whitewater. All the water falling down from the sky makes Grand Lake a wet location; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. Having a wonderful time in the
Olympic Mountains is trouble-free. Badger Valley is a magnificent location to look at, and you're perhaps interested in lakes, Gladys Lake is one of those nearby.
