Do stop by Grand Lake while you're in this part of Washington. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. While you're here at Grand Lake you can take a hike along the Little River Trail; after a long day outdoors Port Angeles Super 8 Motel is a delightful site to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. The panoramas at Olympic National Park will blow your mind, and if you get bored of Grand Lake you could also go to nearby Gladys Lake.

| | If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is next to Grand Lake; camping at Heart of the Hills Campground is always a good experience. Elwha River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Grand Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Baldy Trail.

sure to bump into some friendly people from Shelton here, and Badger Valley is another delightful place to take a look at close by. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Olympic Lodge, and do take a hike
on the Lake Creek Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Olympic Mountains. Grand Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Park Campground is a splendid local campground, and a pleasant
location for whitewater paddling is Gray Wolf River.
High temperatures at Grand Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's;
overnight lows at Grand Lake all through the wintertime frequently fall into the 30's. The high level of precipitation makes Grand Lake a quite wet location; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
