If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpental is right next door to Gouging Lake; since you're here, you could also visit wonderful Dream Lake. Summer at Gouging Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Gouging Lake. And that's not all the       things you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. The Pratt Lake Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near Gouging Lake, and Snoqualmie is a great local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Miller River - West Fo is a brilliant whitewater spot next to Gouging Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Salish Lodge And Spa. A nice place to camp here at Gouging Lake is Commonwealth Campground, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Middle Fork                  Trail. Gouging Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. There's some flowing water nearby, Coney Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here, and do stop by Smith Lake, it's a pretty lake. There is a delightful hiking trail next to Gouging Lake called the Annette Lake Trail, and at Gouging Lake you can distinguish Cascade Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Miller River - East Fork, and Gouging Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, West Fork Campground is a tremendous local campground.
