Going for a hike on the Mount Jupiter Trail is always a great adventure, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Hamma Hamma River; splendid hiking is available along the Baldy Trail. Soar down the rapids of Jefferson Creek in a kayak, and if you came for an overnight stay Lena Creek Campground is a great site to camp. Man, is there heaps       of cool things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Camping is available at Lilliwaup Creek Campground; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Shelton. All the water falling down from the sky makes Goober Pond a wet spot; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Royal                  Creek Trail, and a charming lake like Jefferson Lake is a great location to have a look at. So many cool things near Goober Pond, clearly tremendous.
