    The beauty of Gold Lake is reason enough to stop by. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Gold Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25, and there's great hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail. High temperatures at Gold Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's.  
   The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Gold Lake during the wintertime commonly sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Snoqualmie is a very popular ski area around here; great hiking is available along the Middle Fork Trail.
Get drenched paddling on Snoqualmie River - South Fork; do pop by Silver Creek since you're here at Gold Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Alpental; whitewater paddling
 
               is magnificent on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Commonwealth Campground is a good location to camp, and the top of Mount Margaret is easily observed from Gold Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Gold Lake frequently gets much rain; most of the rain falls during January, and the driest month of the year is July.
What a site this is for outdoors people. Box Canyon Lake is a wonderful lake near Gold Lake, and Crystal Springs Campground is a tremendous campground here.
