    What a nice lake Goat Lakes is. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. During the warm days of summer here at Goat Lakes, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Goat Lakes tend to be in the 20's. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Northern Cascade  
   Range. Coney Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth checking out, and camping is available at Chancellor Campground.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Goat Lakes a wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Goat Lakes is Canyon
 
               Creek - Skagit Tributary, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Granite Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. There's delightful hiking along the West Fork Methow Trail, and as expected, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lake of the Pines is a lake around here. A journey to Holman Pass is always fun. Lakes are great; Shull Lake is a lake that's right next door to Goat Lakes. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Goat Lakes. The Monument Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Holman Campground is always a delightful experience.
Good hiking is available along the Mill Creek Trail; if the weather is delightful, you get a great sight of Holman Peak from Goat Lakes.
