     Goat Lake is a nice lake to visit. Sauk River Campground is a great campground here; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Sloan Creek. Goat Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A pleasant
 
   place to stop at close to Goat Lake is Ida Pass; Skyriver Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest. Be careful coming to Goat Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Cadet Peak is a peak you can make out from Goat Lake; lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Cadet Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Monte Cristo Campground is a wonderful place to camp; get yourself into a kayak and hit Sauk River - North Fork.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Basin is a charming location any time of year, and you can go for a hike on the Lost Creek Ridge Trail. Summertime highs at Goat Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Goat Lake.
So much amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too splendid to be true. Skiing at Stephens Pass is one of those things you just must do, and great hiking is available along the Camp Creek Ridge Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Cascadia Inn, and there's great hiking along the Meadow Mountain Trail.
