There are great places to explore along the Osborne Mountain Trail, and camping is available at Mounthaven Resort. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Buckley is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and Mount Beljica can be distinguished from Goat Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave       Goat Lake without first going for a hike along the Big Creek Trail, and going to Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Throughout the months of summer at Goat Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's while Goat Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. You                  could also stop at Kenworthy Lake while you're here at Goat Lake; it's close by, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Silver Creek. Just can't get enough of Goat Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Christine is next to Goat Lake, and Beljica Meadows is a good place to check out. But wait, there's more to do near Goat Lake.
