Goat Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. There are great places to explore along the Osborne Mountain Trail, and camping is available at Mounthaven Resort. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Buckley is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and Mount Beljica can be distinguished from Goat Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave

Throughout the months of summer at Goat Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.  | July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving.... |
