Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Glacier Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25, and Kachess Campground is a delightful campground nearby. The high level of precipitation makes Glacier Lake a quite wet spot; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. At Glacier Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's; the night is
a bit chillier of course, typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Glacier Lake descend into the 30's.
Go for a hike on the Escondido Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Alpental while you're here. There are other sites here than Glacier Lake, for example Chikamin Lake. Glacier Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern

               Cascade Range.
After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a good place to spend a night or two, and not far from Glacier Lake you'll discover Park Lakes which is a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Box Canyon Creek, and Alta Pass is a great spot to spend some time. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to discover along the Cooper Pass Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Snoqualmie.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly abundant here at Glacier Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork; you can stay the night at Crystal Springs Campground. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a spot to stay Suncadia Resort is a wonderful choice, and you obtain a pleasant view of Chikamin Peak from here.
