So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just incredible. A pleasant place to camp here at Gifford Lakes is Nor'west Motel and RV Park, and Salish Lodge And Spa is a splendid spot to get some rest. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Mount Defiance Trail is magnificent fun, and Granite Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit. A good       deal of rain falls at Gifford Lakes; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Soar down the rapids of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork in a kayak, and do check out Thompson Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Gifford Lakes you can take a hike along the Annette Lake Trail, and                  you can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Alpental. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pratt River, and good skiing awaits you at Snoqualmie. During the warm days of summer at Gifford Lakes highs are typically in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Gifford Lakes during the wintertime frequently drop into the 30's. Camping is available at Commonwealth Campground; from Gifford Lakes you get a nice view of Russian Butte. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Gifford Lakes is so good!
