Why not stop by Lake George if you're passing through these parts. From Lake George you get a good panorama of Gobblers Knob, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Osborne Mountain Trail. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless! You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake George has to offer, you can camp at High Rock Campground; a nice nearby hotel is National Park Inn. | | a brilliant spot to go if you're at Lake George, and if you need a location to stay Alexander's Country Inn is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake George you can take a hike along the Big Creek Trail, and Mount Rainier National Park is a wonderful spot nearby. The high level of precipitation makes Lake George a reasonably wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most; | |

the driest of the months is July. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. All through the warmest time of the year at Lake George highs are mostly in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The
cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake George. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Skate Creek for all you thrill seekers. You just can't envision the
amount of outdoors amusing things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. While you're here at Lake George, you could also visit beautiful Lake Allen, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Silver Creek. Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here at Lake George that you need to camp here for a while, Longmire Campground is a good location for that; the Paul Peak Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby.
