     Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a location to stay Kings Valu Inn is a great choice, and going for a hike along the Paul Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Big Creek Trail, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Osborne Mountain Trail. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one  
   place! The Northern Cascade Range is great! Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Buckley, and drift down the rapids of Skate Creek in a kayak.
Near Lake George you locate Round Pass which is a brilliant place to go to; paddling on Silver Creek is so much fun. A splendid place to camp here at Lake George is High Rock Campground; if the weather is pretty, you get a pleasant view of Gobblers Knob from Lake George. There's just no way somebody can get bored
 
               here at Lake George. Looking for a fine trip? Mount Rainier National Park is quite in the vicinity of Lake George, and as expected, this is a pleasant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Lake Allen is a lake in close proximity.
Lake George is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Lake George is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Mounthaven Resort is a tremendous local campground, and you're possibly into lakes, Kenworthy Lake is one of those nearby.
All through the warm months at Lake George highs are usually in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Lake George. Lake George is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; all through November this area sees the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
