If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to George Lake. George Lake is a glorious location to camp, Shady Tree RV Park is a glorious location; after a long day outdoors Best Western Rama Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. A pleasant nearby hotel is Cave B Inn at SageCliffe. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Sand Hollow Creek, and Basecamp is a good campground here.

| | at George Lake get into the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows in the 10's for George Lake. George Lake gets very little rainfall; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. George Lake is not the only place nearby, Martha Lake is a nearby lake; golf can be played at Quincy Golf Club.
