you obtain at Snoqualmie. Gem Lake gets a lot of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. All the outdoors fun things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back
many times. Hemlock Pass is a great place to spend some time at, and tremendous hiking is available along the Annette Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Commonwealth Campground, and you can run the rapids of
Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dingford Creek Falls, and don't leave Gem Lake without first going for a hike along the Pratt Lake Trail.
