    If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Gem Lake. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. What would winter be without some skiing at Alpental. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Wildcat Creek is a good local stream, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, The Tooth is right here. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do in close proximity  
   to Gem Lake. Bryant Peak is a peak you can see from Gem Lake, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Green Ridge Lake is just a very short distance away.
Summertime highs at Gem Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Gem Lake plunge into the 30's. Salish Lodge And Spa is a brilliant
 
               spot to get some rest; there are delightful spots to explore along the Middle Fork Trail. Gem Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gem Lake has to offer, you can camp at West Fork Campground, and Dingford Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Gem Lake? Kaleetan Lake is in the vicinity, and striking scenery and wonderful skiing is what you obtain at Snoqualmie. Gem Lake gets a lot of water; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
All the outdoors fun things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. Hemlock Pass is a great place to spend some time at, and tremendous hiking is available along the Annette Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Commonwealth Campground, and you can run the rapids of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dingford Creek Falls, and don't leave Gem Lake without first going for a hike along the Pratt Lake Trail.
