At Gallagher Head Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gallagher Head Lake. Just can't get enough of Gallagher Head Lake. Gallagher Head Lake is a glorious place to camp, De Roux Campground is a glorious place; if you need a site to stay Suncadia       Resort is a brilliant choice. The Sasse Mountain Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Gallagher Head Lake, and at Gallagher Head Lake you can make out Esmeralda Peaks. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Gallagher Head Lake? Lake Ann is nearby, and close by you hit upon the Davis Peak Lookout Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. The high level of rain makes Gallagher Head Lake a rather                  wet location; the month with most of the snow is January; July on the other hand is the driest. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. If the weather is magnificent here at Gallagher Head Lake, you can go for a hike along the Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Cle Elum River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Scatter Creek Campground, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Teanaway River - North Fork. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range.
