     So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. You get a good vista of Barometer Mountain from Galena Chain Lakes; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Nooksack River - North Fork. Lakes? Sure, Mazama Lake is around here, and camping at Shuksan Campground is always a tremendous experience.
Galena Chain Lakes is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; November is the wettest month with
 
   most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Through the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at Galena Chain Lakes with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Galena Chain Lakes temperatures descend to the 30's. And that's not all you can do here at Galena Chain Lakes. Put some time aside to spend at Mazama Falls while you're here at Galena Chain Lakes; not far from Galena Chain  
               Lakes you'll come across Hayes Lake which is a beautiful lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a great site to get some rest, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Ruth Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. This location, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. If you're here at Galena Chain Lakes, checking out Table Mountain Glacier is a must, and camping is available at Depression Lake Campground.
