Fuhrman Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is December while September is frequently the driest month. Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a great national park; Panorama RV Park and Storage is a great local campground. Echo Mountain is easy to spot from Fuhrman Lake, and swing       by Highland Creek it's a splendid site to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kettle River, and if you've had enough of Fuhrman Lake, Lee Lake is nearby. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Sherman Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Colville is a great choice.
