This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Forest Lake is a lake in close proximity, and camping is available at Dry Creek Campground. Don’t forget to pop by Berkeley Park since you're here at Frozen Lake, and camping at White River Campground is always a wonderful experience.
The Northern Loop Trail offers hiking at its best, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes?

Sure, Shadow Lake is just a very short distance away. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Head up to Crystal Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and not far from Frozen Lake you acquire some delightful water scenery at Frozen Lake Dam. Having a wonderful time at Frozen Lake is uncomplicated. There's whitewater on Chinook Creek for all you adrenaline people, and Frozen Lake is right by the Skyline Trail.
During the warm months,

highs typically are in the 70's at Frozen Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Frozen Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. The high level of precipitation makes Frozen Lake a reasonably wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Frozen Lake you can observe Baker Point, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend White River.
So much cool stuff near Frozen Lake, definitely striking. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Mount Rainier National Park since you're here at Frozen Lake It's always fine to have a look at Affi Falls. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Flip-O-Way Trail; hey, Inter Fork is a splendid local stream.

Lake Christine
19 miles away
July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....

White Pass
23 miles away
...ise.
The White Pass experience starts with a bountiful snowfall (350'' in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades.
The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 33 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 43 percent toward intermediates and 24 percent toward beginners.
Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes.
White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the most experienced boarder. It offers a half-pipe.
It's got one of the most scenic and well-maintained cross-country areas in the Northwest. The 18 km of double track, which allows both classic and skating, circles a picturesque lake and then climbs into the Wenatchee National Forest.
The White Pass Learning Center has devel...

From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast!
For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do!
So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit.
