Paddling on Elwha River is so much fun, and the Lake Creek Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Frog Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Lillian is near Frog Lake, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Skokomish River - North Fork. The panorama of Mount Claywood from Frog Lake is pretty, and nearby you discover the Long Ridge Trail which is a tremendous hiking       trail. Days Inn Port Angeles is a delightful location to get some rest; Deer Park Campground is a perfect local campground. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Frog Lake? Claywood Lake is in the neighborhood, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Elwha River Trail. For the period of the long summer days at Frog Lake highs are typically                  in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
