Fortson Ponds is always a pleasure to visit. Fortson Ponds is right by the Gee Point Trail, and Fortson Mill Pond Dam is a lovely site, without doubt worth a visit. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Fortson Ponds. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Fortson Ponds dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Fortson Ponds is one of the lakes here in the

Fortson Ponds sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Finney Peak Trail offers hiking at its best; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder River. things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Stillaguamish River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot in close proximity to Fortson Ponds. There's so much to do here at Fortson Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Hemple Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that.
