If you are traveling by, why not stop by Fortson Ponds. Fortson Ponds mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Fortson Ponds. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Fortson Ponds is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. So much amusing stuff to do at Fortson Ponds, so little time. A quick spree to Little French Creek near Fortson Ponds is a nice idea, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Stillaguamish River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe, and Fortson Mill Pond is a great lake close by. Hemple Creek
Campground is a magnificent campground here; there's some interesting stuff to see at Fortson Mill Pond Dam next to Fortson Ponds. If you came for an overnight stay Cascade Kamloops Trout Farm and RV Park is a fine place to camp, and hiking along the Finney Peak Trail is tremendous fun.
