Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more fun things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. On a beautiful day you obtain a sight of Antler Peak from Forest Lake; going for a hike along the Flip-O-Way Trail       will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. And if that's not enough there's plenty more fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Very scenic scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Crystal Mountain, and a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Chinook Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Shadow Lake is in the vicinity, and it's a brilliant idea to explore Inter Fork. Forest Lake is located in the Northern Cascade                  Range. Forest Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. Throughout the summer months here at Forest Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Forest Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. You can run the rapids of White River close to Forest Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Frozen Lake Dam is a place that is in the neighborhood of Forest Lake, and a splendid place to camp here at Forest Lake is White River Campground. Skiing at White Pass is one of those things you just ought to do, and everybody loves Cold Basin.
