You could also stop at Black Lake if you're here at Fords Dry Lake;       it's close by; don't leave Fords Dry Lake without first going for a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. So much amusing stuff in the Olympic Mountains, just incredible. Cranberry Marsh is a swamp in the neighborhood of Fords Dry Lake; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Astoria for sure.
