Whitewater paddling is good on American River, and a good panorama of pretty Little Bald Mountain is available. Buck Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you can never get enough                  of the brilliant skiing at Crystal Mountain. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Flat Iron Lake is excellent! Bumping River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Flat Iron Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cougar Flat Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at White Pass is one of those things you just should do; if you need a place to stay Suncadia Resort is a great choice. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. If you get bored of Flat Iron Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Richmond Lake; going for a hike on the Richmond Mine Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
