This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Sherman Creek, and if the weather is gorgeous, you get a wonderful panorama of First Thought Mountain from First Thought Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Kettle River Campground is a good       place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Colville. First Thought Lake is commonly a quite arid place; most of the snow falls throughout December while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many entertaining things to do here at First Thought Lake, too nice to be true. Why not camp at Pierre Lake Campground since you're here at First Thought Lake. Through the months of summer highs here at First Thought Lake reach                  the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at First Thought Lake are in the 10's.
