First Hidden Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Rivers Bend Campground is a splendid local campground, and let's not forget Gunbarrel Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around First Hidden Lake; Driveway Butte Trail is a great local trail, and do stop by Hidden Lakes, it's a gorgeous lake. There's       delightful hiking along the Monument Creek Trail, and a lovely lake like Middle Hidden Lake is a tremendous location to visit. All year is a tremendous time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Boundary Trail, and if you came to camp Ballard Campground is a brilliant spot to do that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to First Hidden Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to                  the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 10's for First Hidden Lake. First Hidden Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. First Hidden Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most while July is mostly the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Sun Mountain Lodge, and there's whitewater on Lost River for all you thrill seekers. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range.
