This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Humptulips River - East Fork is a good whitewater spot near Failor Lake, and you can stay the night at Riverview Campground and Cabins. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Donkey Creek; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.

| | If you need a spot to stay Red Lion Hotel Aberdeen is a pleasant choice, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Aberdeen here. Failor Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls during December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains. Failor Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Hoquiam River RV Park is a nice spot to camp nearby. | |

Summertime highs at Failor Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the night is quite colder of course, usually in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and night lows throughout the wintertime
for Failor Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Failor Lake Dam is a pretty location close to Failor Lake, and a pretty lake like Hoquiam Water Works is a magnificent place to visit. So much entertaining stuff to
do in the Olympic Mountains, not enough time. Failor Lake is a pleasant lake near Failor Lake, and a quick visit to Nelson Creek is certainly a pleasant idea.
