The beauty of Evans Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Escondido Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Stephens Pass is a delightful local ski area. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. While you're here at Evans Lake you can take a hike along the Cooper Pass Trail, and dry warm beds await you

Evans Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. The slopes of Alpental are so inviting nobody can resist, and a good location for whitewater paddling is Foss River. This lake is so wonderful. Foss River Campground is a nice campground nearby.

in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Evans Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, West Fork Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and you obtain a good vista of Malachite Peak from here. In the event that
you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Miller River - East Fork, and do check out Chetwoot Lake, it's a pretty lake. Throughout the warm months highs here at Evans Lake reach the 70's. Once
the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Evans Lake fall into the 30's.
Hiking along the Middle Fork Trail is good fun; you'll discover a scenic lake called Camp Robber Lake.
