High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Evan temperatures sink to the 30's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Lake Evan gets a good deal of water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Lakes? Sure, Island Lake is nearby, and why not a little side journey to Long Creek. This                  lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Red Bridge Campground is a pleasant site to do that, and there's whitewater on Stillaguamish River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people.
