Erickson Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Park Place On Hood Canal is a brilliant local campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dosewallips River. The Mount Jupiter Trail offers hiking at its best, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Alderbrook Resort And Spa. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains.       There's so much to do here at Erickson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snooze Junction RV Park is a fine place for that, and there are other places here than Erickson Lake, for example Blacksmith Lake. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Not far from Erickson Lake, you'll find Twin Lakes which is a stunning lake, and Erickson Lake is right by the Deadfall Trail. This lake is one of the great                  places here in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Erickson Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Erickson Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. Erickson Lake is not far at all from Shelton, and a nice location for whitewater paddling is Duckabush River. Erickson Lake gets much water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Erickson Lake rules!
