Lake Elsie is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. What a spot this is for outdoors people. A brilliant site to camp here at Lake Elsie is Tolt River John Macdonald Park, and Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a tremendous place to get some rest. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Elsie, you could pop by Crandall Creek, and needless to say, this is a fine neighborhood

For the period of the warm months at Lake Elsie highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while Lake Elsie night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Lake Elsie a rather wet site; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture.
Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range.
If you come at the right time of year, Sultan River offers some glorious whitewater. Not far from Lake Elsie you obtain some splendid water scenery at McCoy Creek Dam; camping at Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park is always a nice experience.
And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at GuestHouse Inn & Suites M, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Dorothy is just a very short distance away.
