Washington has many beautiful lakes and Elk Lake is one of them. Summer at Elk Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's while Elk Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Upper Elk Lake is a fine lake next to Elk Lake, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Royal Creek Trail. This lake
is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a brilliant location to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
