Quinault River is a pleasant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Elk Lake, and the vista of picturesque Moonlight Dome is splendid. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Elk Lake has to offer,       you can camp at Coho Campground; Irely Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Having a splendid time at Elk Lake is easy. If you need a place to stay Lake Quinault Lodge is a fine choice; brilliant hiking is available along the Elwha River Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Bunch Canyon if you're here at Elk Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Elk Lake; Hoh River Trail is a nice local trail. This lake is one                  of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Olympic Mountains. Do pop by Bunch Lake in the vicinity of Elk Lake, it's a striking lake, and don't leave Elk Lake without first going for a hike along the Skyline Trail.
