Elk Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Elk Lake. If you're here at Elk Lake, you could pop by Cannings Creek, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Quinault River. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Olympic Mountains. Lake Quinault Lodge is a nice site to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Bunch Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some great folks from Aberdeen here, and the Skyline Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Hoh River Trail.
From Elk Lake you get a pleasant panorama of Moonlight Dome. There's so much to do here at Elk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, | |

Campbell Tree Grove Campground is a wonderful place for that. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Elwha River Trail, and if you yearn
for a little side tour, try Bunch Canyon. All the water falling down from the sky makes Elk Lake a wet location; the month with most of the rain is December; July meanwhile is the driest month.
All through the warmest time of
the year, highs typically are in the 70's at Elk Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Elk Lake plunge into the 30's.
