Any time is a good time at Elizabeth Lake if you like the outdoors. If you feel like a little side trip, try Bear Gap, and you can go for a hike on the Castle Mountain Trail. This place is excellent, just check out all the enjoyable things to do right next door to Elizabeth Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is in the vicinity of Elizabeth Lake, and after a long day outdoors       Mt View Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Morse Creek Campground, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Crystal Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Elizabeth Lake is Dry Creek Campground; there are glorious places to explore along the Dewey Lake Trail. At Elizabeth Lake through the warm months highs                  are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Elizabeth Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Elizabeth Lake without first going for a hike along the Dalles Ridge Trail; hey, Elizabeth Creek is a delightful local stream. Elizabeth Lake mostly gets lots of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Chinook Creek, and do stop at Placer Lake Dam while you're here. The vista of wonderful Crystal Mountain near Elizabeth Lake is great; there's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
