Tanwax Lake
The area for swimming wasnt much. However, I was there to get some lily pad roots for my pond. With the roots later hatched about 8 fish. They are over a year old but in a small pond with gold fish they did not grow more than an inch. I cannot identify the fish since they are about an inch long. However, they have a single long dorsal fin that ends close to the small tain fin. Does not show any stripes or trout colors. But grey in color. The pond drained to about 4 inches after I removed some. However, 2 remained in the mucky water which did not have any aireation. They are now in my indoor fish tank and get along well with the larger gold fish. What are they??...

Lake Fenwick
19 miles away I would like to know what kind of Marine animals are at Lake Fenwick park as our family decided to watch the bats and heard some extremely DEEP groan's coming from the lake. Would love to know is this toads? My 9 year old Jesse and myself are VERY interested!!!!...I've fished here several times it's really hit and miss, but usually I have luck with rooster tails brown, and some baits work as well. Never seen anything over 14 and usually see 8-10....
Lake Christine
19 miles away July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
Osborne Mountain Trail
19 miles away Osborne Mtn. Trail is written up as being in Lewis County but is also listed under Pierce County so there is a discrepancy there....
