This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Places like Grand Park are splendid to pop by, and there are delightful places to explore along the Northern Loop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A quick trip to Ada Creek near Lake Eleanor is a good idea, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on White River. Scarface is quite near Lake Eleanor;

| | don't leave Lake Eleanor without first going for a hike along the Flip-O-Way Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. The Dalles Campground is a splendid local campground; Lake Eleanor is not the only location close by, Mule Lake is a close by lake. Throughout the summer at Lake Eleanor highs are generally in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Very beautiful scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Crystal Mountain, and if you get bored of Lake Eleanor you could also take a look at close by Lonesome Lake. Now, you may
believe that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Why not camp at White River Campground if you're here at Lake Eleanor; there's perfect hiking along the Sun Top Trail. This lake is
so wonderful. Kings Valu Inn is a glorious location to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Eleanor a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here while July is frequently the driest month.
