Harts Lake
Harts Lake is Washington's hidden treasure. Nestled in the foothills of Bald Hill Mountains, it is a getaway to beat all getaways. There's a small town nearby with all the amenities you'd need without the crush of a large city. Mostly enjoyed by fishermen, this lake is the most relaxing, beautiful place on earth. Water sports are enjoyed by a pleasant few - whatever you look for in a lake you'll find it at Harts!...Visit Wilcox Farms Organic Dairy and Poultry Farm. Wilcox is a family owned company since 1909 sitting at the base of Mt. Rainier in at beautiful Harts Lake....
Rapjohn Lake
Bass seem to like pumkin color worms and grubs. Got most of them a foot from bank in 2 foot water deep in the lily pads....I have found that the trout in Rapjohn go for the chartruese power bait....
Nisqually River
...t rivers, every year there is something new and unexpected. There are a few notable obstacles and log jams that have stuck over the past ten years or so. One of them is between McKenna and the Nisqually railroad trestle. It has been there as long as I can remember. But the river isn't too fast there and you should have plenty of time to get outta the way. The other problems are further down the river, the log jams that are past the Nisqually pines aren't too bad. Most of them are so far up on the river bank that only a few trees hang into the river ( not to say that there are none of them.) But the problem is that you raft right under the cliffs on FT. Lewis. They seem to like to throw cars off the cliffs and watch them hit the water.. Or this is a good way to dispose of stolen cars.. Because the water just churns and turns these cars into a spiky nightmare for the rafters and tubers of the Nisqually. I have yet to see one person go over the cars and not instantly blow there raft apart.. Just keep a good eye out for any colors that don't belong in the river. Sometimes its just a smal...

Tanwax Lake
13 miles away The area for swimming wasnt much. However, I was there to get some lily pad roots for my pond. With the roots later hatched about 8 fish. They are over a year old but in a small pond with gold fish they did not grow more than an inch. I cannot identify the fish since they are about an inch long. However, they have a single long dorsal fin that ends close to the small tain fin. Does not show any stripes or trout colors. But grey in color. The pond drained to about 4 inches after I removed some. However, 2 remained in the mucky water which did not have any aireation. They are now in my indoor fish tank and get along well with the larger gold fish. What are they??...
