Visit Zodiac Creek while you're here at Elbow Lake; Pierre Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby.       This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Elbow Lake, you'll hit upon Bowen Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and Lead Pencil Mountain is easy to spot from Elbow Lake. High temperatures at Elbow Lake through the summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Elbow Lake. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors,                  just come on down to Elbow Lake. A trip to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is recommended, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Kiel Springs.
