If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Edds Lake. A lot of rain falls at Edds Lake; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A lake close by is Alaska Lake, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Dingford Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right?

| | Snoqualmie is a splendid place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Edds Lake you can take a hike along the Middle Fork Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork offers some nice whitewater. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Edds Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Lake through the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 30's. All the outdoors cool stuff in close proximity to Edds Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Best Western Inn is a nice spot to get some rest, and what would winter
be without some skiing at Alpental. Man, is there lots of fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Hardscrabble Creek is a great local stream; camping at Edds Lake is great fun, Crystal Springs Campground is a great local campground.
You definitely have to go for the Northern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Cascadia Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and at Edds Lake you can see Alaska Mountain. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is
always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. The Cooper Pass Trail is a good hiking trail next to Edds Lake, and why not camp at Commonwealth Campground if you're here at Edds Lake.
