A magnificent close by hotel is Seattle North/Edmonds Travelodge, and a lake nearby is Chase Lake. Summertime highs at Echo Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. The amount of rain that falls at Echo Lake is close to the national average;       December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Beaches are pleasant; and Sunset Beach close to Echo Lake is no exception, and you're sure to stumble upon some nice people from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here. This lake is so wonderful. Hall Creek is a tremendous local stream. Echo Lake is not the only location nearby, Lake Ballinger is a nearby lake; Ballinger Lake Outlet Dam is not far at all from Echo Lake. A day at Matthews                  Beach right next door to Echo Lake is time well spent. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Overland Trailer Court. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duwamish River, and a swamp like Ronald Bog close to Echo Lake has lots of exciting things to see. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Echo Lake.
