And that's not everything there is to do here in the Olympic Mountains. You'll locate a pretty lake called Blackwood Lake near Eagle Lakes, and a great location to camp here at Eagle Lakes is Fairholme Campground. If you come at the right time of year, Soleduck River - North Fork offers some brilliant whitewater, and hiking along the North Fork Soleduck River Trail is nice fun. Eagle       Lakes sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through November, and July is the month with the least moisture. Hit the slopes at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge in the neighborhood; the Aurora Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Eagle Lakes, do take a visit to Eagle Point; Cole Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to                  Eagle Lakes. Eagle Lakes is not far at all from Port Angeles, and Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a fine site to get some rest. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Eagle Lakes is right by the Pyramid Mountain Trail, and why not camp at Soleduck Campground since you're here at Eagle Lakes. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Soleduck River, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Mink Lake. High temperatures at Eagle Lakes through the summertime months are in the 70's with night lows in the 40's.
