    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Eagle Lake. Just can't get enough of Eagle Lake. Camping is available at West Fork Campground, and Cascadia Inn is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Baring Mountain is easily observed from Eagle Lake; glide down the rapids of Skykomish River - South Fork in a kayak. All through the summertime at Eagle Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's with overnight  
   lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Eagle Lake plunge into the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at San Juan Campground is always a nice experience, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Lost Creek Ridge Trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Paradise Meadow is a beautiful site any time of year, and
 
               Alpental is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Eagle Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is generally the driest month.
Eagle Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Hit the slopes at Stephens Pass in the neighborhood; a lake nearby is Barclay Lake. On a tremendous day at Eagle Lake you can take a hike along the Middle Fork Trail, and a splendid nearby hotel is Skyriver Inn.
So many cool things in the Northern Cascade Range, just tremendous. Near Eagle Lake you hit upon the Pratt Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Skykomish River - North Fork offers some good whitewater.
