This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Palouse River, and Dyer Lake is not the only place nearby, Johns Camp Lake is a nearby lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Cow Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here; a lake nearby is Wildcat Lake. High temperatures at Dyer Lake throughout the warm days of       summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Dyer Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Not much rain falls here at Dyer Lake; most of the snow falls through December; July is the month with the least moisture.
