At Duffy Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Duffy Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Duncan Hill Trail is pleasant fun.       This lake is so wonderful. Duffy Lake is right by the Driveway Butte Trail, and a good place to camp here at Duffy Lake is War Creek Campground. Any time is a great time at Duffy Lake if you love the outdoors. Camping is available at Mystery Campground, and Duckbill Mountain can be seen from Duffy Lake. And if that's not enough there's loads more fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes? Sure, East Oval Lake is in close proximity; needless to say                  Oval Creek flows through this region. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Silver Lake is a magnificent lake right next door to Duffy Lake; get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Twisp River. Take a hike on the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Sun Mountain Lodge. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Methow River; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Winthrop is a great site to spend a night or two.
