    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Duck Pond. Duck Pond gets a good deal of water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Christie Creek is in the neighborhood of Duck Pond and is always a diversion to pop by. There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Riverview Park is a brilliant site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Burlington  
   is a nice spot to get some rest; at Duck Pond you always meet someone from Mount Vernon-Anacortes.
Duck Pond is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Any time is a magnificent time at Duck Pond if you go for the outdoors. There's whitewater on Skookum Creek for all you adrenaline people; a delightful close by hotel is Snowwater Condos. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade
 
               Range. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Nooksack River - South Fork, and Duck Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Wildwood Resort is a perfect local campground.
Summertime highs at Duck Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Duck Pond. If you haven’t been to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and you can hit the slopes at Mt.Baker nearby. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless! Blue Mountain is a peak you can see from Duck Pond.
