In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Duck Pond is one of them. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the vicinity of Duck Pond. The cheerful folks of Mount Vernon-Anacortes like to hang out nearby, and if you came to camp Riverview Park is a great place to do that. | | example Lonesome Pond. Duck Pond mostly gets lots of precipitation; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is commonly the driest month. Not far from Duck Pond, you'll find Ferguson Ponds which is a wonderful lake, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Nooksack River - South Fork. will keep you coming back persistently. Don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Christie Creek, and if time allows, Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a national park worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. The
skiing at Mt.Baker is glorious, and Duck Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wildwood Resort is a good local campground. At Duck Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is fairly chillier
of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Duck Pond drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel
is Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Burlington. If you need a location to stay Snowwater Condos is a nice choice, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Skookum Creek.
