This is a popular spot for people from Spokane, and if you came for an overnight stay Picnic Pines On Silver Lake is a fine place to camp. Duck Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls all through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A lake nearby is Granite Lake, and a great swamp near Duck Lake is Big Swamp. Summertime highs       at Duck Lake typically tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Duck Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Duck Lake. A golf course in the neighborhood of Duck Lake is Fairways Golf Course, and there's whitewater on Hangman Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. At Duck                  Lake you can see Riddle Hill, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Spokane River. This lake is so wonderful. Clear Lake Pines is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Willow Springs Motel near EWU.
